More and more organisations are dependent on volunteers to help them achieve their aims and objectives. Managing and getting the best out of those volunteers is a skill that is essential. As part of the Good Practice project we are running the following workshops on the KVA Autumn Training Programme 2011.

Why not join the Go Kingston Team (Go Kingston) which will give you the opportunity to get involved in special events taking place in Kingston as part of the Cultural Olympiad.
We have had a positive response to the campaign so far to find people to join the Go Kingston Volunteering Team, but still need more.
The Buddy Scheme has recently had both its funding streams renewed following a period of uncertainty. This exciting news allows us to push forward with getting new partnerships set up and growing the project to reach more people with learning disabilities.
This excellent and transformative service is in high demand around the borough. The value it can bring to the lives of often isolated people is immeasurable.
Our scheme finds volunteer befrienders for people with a learning disability aged 14 and upwards.
