The Torch will arrive at the Hook Centre in Chessington at 8:22am on 24 July 2012. It will then be carried aloft through the borough by more than 20 Torchbearers and a large convoy of supporting vehicles before moving on to Richmond at about 9:45am, at Ham Cross junction in North Kingston.
Go Kingston Volunteering would like to hear from you now if you would like to be one of the volunteers to help with marshalling the route as the torch passes through the borough. Selection will be on a first come, first served basis. Please let Hedley know as soon as possible if you are able to assist.
At the time of writing volunteers will be required as follows:-
Hook Centre 7.30am to approx 8.45am
Kingston Town Centre - 8.00am to approx 10.00am
All volunteers must attend a briefing at the Guildhall on either Friday 20 or Monday 23 July. The briefings are currently booked for lunchtime. Please let Hedley know if an early evening briefing would be better for you.
